Happy Memorial Day!

Today I have Color Club - a blue from the Take Wing collection. Sorry I don't have the name. It's not on my bottle. I used NOPI Kendall on the Catwalk on my accent nail. I would have gone with a red, white and blue mani but I have to work tomorrow and I thought it may look silly with my work clothes!

Thanks to all of the veterans who lost their lives in service. If you know me, you know I'm a liberal at heart and totally against war of any kind. I think it's senseless. But, that said,I respect those who choose to serve in the military.

Sorry I've been MIA for a while, but things have been tough for me recently in my personal life. My kitty Tunch passed away unexpectedly on Monday and it has been very hard for my hubby and I to deal with it, so needless to say I haven't really felt like doing my nails, or anything else for that matter. But, as my mom says "This too shall pass."

1. Who is your celebrity role model? Giuliana Rancic. She has overcome so much in her life especially in the past few years. Plus, she's amazeballs!

2. Following from that, who or what is your biggest style inspiration? I have to say I like Giuliana's style. I don't really have a certain celebrity whose fashion I look up to, though.

3. What is the most played song at the moment? I don't really listen to new music - I'm a bit of a '90s music nut

4. Do you think you're a good secret keeper? Sure, but I have a hard time not telling someone what I bought them for Christmas or their birthday!

5. If you could put yourself into any movie, which would you choose? Clueless

6. Is there anything that you have become a die-hard fan of? Nail polish and glitter

7. Your worst fashion related disaster? Growing up in the late 1980s and 1990s, I had my fair share of pouffy bangs and crimped hair!

8. What's your most worn perfume? Philosophy's Pure Grace

9. If you don't have it already, what is your dream job? I like the job that I have currently (in journalism), I just wish I made more money at it!

10. Do you play any instruments? Unfortunately not

11. What motivates you to keep blogging? I'm not sure. I really can't believe I've kept it up this long lol!
