Yeah, I had to get a chest for my polish

So, last week I went to ikea to get something to organize my polish. I looked at the Helmer and like that Olympic gymnast, I was not impressed. The floor model had a dent in it and I didn't like that it was made of metal. For $40 I couldn't justify it.

So, for a little bit more $, I got a Kullen chest of drawers. The first 2 drawers are more shallow than the other 3, thus making them perfect for polish. I put scarves and hats in one drawer. I will probably put socks and sweaters in the others.

Also, I counted the polish and have 110 bottles. That's not including base and topcoats. Yikes!

On a side note, did anyone watch the Golden Globes last night? I was so glad "Girls" won. Love that show! Gotta love that Lena Dunham thanked Chad Lowe.

I am kind of mad that my other fave show, "Big Rich Texas" wasn't nominated.

Need a break from nail glitter overload

I have been wearing so much glitter on my nails that I needed a but of a break. Who would have thought I'd get tired of glitter? I'm also tired of nacho cheese, which is another shocker, but that's a different story.

This is China Glaze Hook and Line. I really like this color. I think I may have posted a pic of it a few months back. I just did this mani, though literally about 15 minutes ago!

Fab slippers

So, this has nothing to do with nails, but I just had to share a pic of my new slippers. I got them at Charming Charlie. They were on clearance and were the last pair and they were my size. It was fate. They are so snugly that I mistook them for my cat while I was in the midst of a killer migraine and tried to pet them.

I really want to wear them in public. Think I would be able to get away with that?

These are so comfy that I rode my exercise bike in them yesterday

Studs and fur. Just the way I like it. Uh yeah, I don't know what that means.
