This is two (or three) coats of Sinful Colors "Easy Going" with one coat of Sinful Colors "Pinky Glitter" (clever name) over it. Seche Vite is the topcoat. I was excited that Walgreens had this brand for 99 cents last week so I bought five! They are usually only $1.99, which is still a steal, but 99 cents is even better! I love the Pinky Glitter color - it has a pink base with larger irridecent glitters and smaller glittery flecks. It is soooo pretty. I just like looking at the bottle!

Think Pink!
Decided to go with subtle pink nails for over the weekend. This may be coming off today, although it is wearing well. I put it on Friday night and it still looks good today.

Grape juice? I'd rather have wine instead.
Yesterday I polished my nails with China Glaze's Grape Juice. In the bottle it looks like a deep purple with small glitter in it. To me it looks much deeper in the bottle than on the nail. I used (I think) two coats in the photo. I think I should have used another coat because it has some bald spots and is already starting to chip on my right hand. Oh well. I do like the color - next time I will do three or four coats, I think.

Let's Go Bucs!
So, we went to a Pirates game on Saturday (our second one of the year!) and so I decided to do a black and gold water marble. These are the best 3 fingers, although my right hand does look pretty decent for a change. Good news was that the Pirates won on Saturday (although they lost yesterday). Bad news was that I didn't get to show off this mani. It was super cold Saturday night - so cold in fact that I wore gloves! So, no one got to see my fab nails, but I knew they were there. This is probably coming off today, though. Not sure if I will do another water marble today or not.

My first water marble
Having only recently even heard about water marbling, I decided to give it a try today. I have to say that for my first attempt it wasn't bad. The pics are below - obviously I need to clean up the polish around my nails. The taping can only help so much! I need to figure out how to have a more uniform design on all the nails, but for now they will just all have to be different!

Ahoy, matey!
Hi friends, I switched out the nail polish today opting for China Glaze's Ahoy! It is a fuchsia/magenta pink color with fine glitter in it. I just got this last week so this is my first time trying it. I have to say it's pretty fab and the color is pretty true on the nails as to what's in the bottle.

Lilac mani
Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you survived "Friday the 13th" yesterday. I had 2 black cats cross my path - kind of hard to avoid since they live with me.
Not sure if this color is lilac or what - It's from the Sally Girl line at Sally Beauty - you know - one of those little tiny bottles. I bought a bunch of them because they were buy 2 get 1 free and I also had a coupon. Go me. Here's a pic of what I did last night. The pic isn't very good, but oh well.

You can't really see the true color of it. This is actually without the flash on my camera. It's a very pretty lavender or lilac color - very pale and I put China Glaze's Prism on my ring finger.

Not so smart
The other day while out and about I decided to go to Big Lots to see if they had any Easter decorations. They did not - in fact their Easter supply was pretty depleted. But, while I was there I ventured over to the beauty aisles and found a nail art stamping kit for $6.50. I was excited as I have never tried stamping before. So this morning I got out the kit, ready to do some fab designs and low and behold it did not work. So after an email to the company that makes the product, I then realized that in order for the thing to work that you needed to peel off the protective layer from each plate. So yeah, I felt pretty stupid. So the thing does work now that I have learned to read the directions!! Here's one of my first attempts. I just have the stamp on my ring finger.
I am having fun trying all of the designs. It came w/ five plates with like six or seven images on each plate.
